Sunday Thrills

Sunday, is it a chill day?
It is once the house chores are complete, along with a quick pop to the supermarket. My boyfriend and I also had the task of sawing the tree christmas down, which of course resulted in me having to hoover the entire living room.... great!
Chilled evening? Finally.
Ran myself a hot bubbly bath, while my lovely boyfriend cooked us dinner. Quick note - now that we live together I've realised what a great team we make (cringe, sorry about that).
So to really make myself feel chilled I put on my cosy frilly loungewear from Miss Pap, snuggled on the sofa, candles and Netflix. The perfect way to wind down and prepare for Monday.
Just need a tea in hand!

Slay All Day

The slogan t-shirt trend has had a recent update with slashes, knots, and cuts out. So when they started making the dresses.... I had to have one!
This particular one is from Prettylittlething.com
I love the striking eagles print and the cut out choker. As it's jersey you can dress it up or down. Daytime with a pair of vans and mustard biker jacket then come night time whack on a pair of heels or even over the knee boots.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy New Year, and what a happy one it was.

For me 2016 had it's ups and downs, but there's no point looking back at the negatives.
I have made some amazing friends and created some fun memories I will never forget.
I've been lucky to travel to places like Lisbon, Ireland, Croatia and Turkey... hopefully more places will be ticked off my list this year.
My nephew and niece mean the world to me, not only am I a proud auntie but also their godmother.
My family are literally the best and have supported me always.
Towards the end of the year my boyfriend and I decided to take the plunge and move in together. We found a cute cottage which had our name all over it and it's amazing. As it was our first Christmas living together we of course HAD to buy a real Christmas tree. It has been lovely enjoying our time off work and spending time in our new home. I'm sure we'll be very happy here.
Going into 2017 I start my new job which I am so excited for. Work hard shop harder!
Hmm will I have a new year resolution? Maybe the usual eat healthy, attend the gym more.
But I would like to set myself a few challenges. Embarrassingly I can not cook so my boyfriend has agreed to teach me and so far so good, I have cooked a spag bowl and a chicken korma. Let's see what I can rustle together this time next year.
I would also like to learn a new skill, whether it's a sport or beauty treatment. So I think a course will definitely be on the cards.
And of course carry on with my blog.

So here's to 2017
